GENERAL SUMMARY: The HR International HR Officer will perform HR functions and provide support to World Concern’s International HR team in the areas of global human resources, recruiting, compensation, deputation, employee relations and benefits.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: (Responsibilities, Accountabilities, and Competencies; May not include all duties of this job)
Job Duties
Recruiting Assist the recruitment and hiring process for international leadership and relief positions. Duties include:
• Screen candidates, conduct initial interviews and match applicant skills, knowledge, experience, and faith statement to open requisitions.
• Facilitate interviews between candidates, hiring managers and the leadership team.
• Perform background and reference checks.
International HR Support
• Work with leadership and in-country HR staff to update and maintain global and in-country handbooks.
• Maintain IHR section of the eWell (WC intranet).
• Gather data for and maintain employee database.
• Maintain personnel files for overseas leadership and deputized staff.
• Update and maintain World Concern’s job description database.
Deputation
• Recruit and screen deputation candidate. Present candidates to leadership team and stakeholders and facilitate interview and invitation process.
Oversee the orientation, on-boarding and fundraising of new deputized staff.
Compensation
• Work with in-country HR staff to gather census data needed for salary surveys and serve as primary point of contact for execution of salary surveys.
Employee On boarding
• Conduct orientation and on-boarding for new expatriate staff.
Benefits
• Provide administrate support for the IMG benefits program and liaise with CRISTA HR and CVM on enrollment of new employees and benefits terminations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience: 5 or more years of experience in an HR generalist role, strong attention to detail, excellent project coordination skills, excellent communication skills (written, oral and listening).
Licensure/Certification: none required
Software and Equipment Used: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, applicant tracking software and database software.
