About the Job:
Grameen America is seeking a Development Associate. S/he will support the development team of the New York office and will be responsible for grant writing, data management, research, and project-based work.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Identify and research new prospects, locally, regionally, and nationally;
- Maintain all fundraising related data in organization's CRM system (Salesforce);
- Draft grant proposals and funder reports;
- Compose and send donor acknowledgement letters and other funder correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- At least 2 years of experience in fundraising position;
- Written communication skills;
- Strong computer skills – proficiency in Powerpoint, Word, and Excel;
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects independently and complete an assignment timely and accurately;
- Salesforce or other CRM skills are a plus.
