Job Description
The Credit Sales & Marketing Support Team sits at the heart of the Middle Office, responsible for the accurate, timely and efficient recording of transactions, maintenance of the transactions through their life-cycle, ensuring transactions are reflected consistently and correctly across the infrastructure and that all underlying data is strictly controlled and maintained.


The team holds a unique position interfacing directly with the front-office (sales & marketing and trading), other MO teams (PnL, Confirmations, Accounting), with settlements teams, projects teams, audit, legal, credit and collateral.


The team provides a unique opportunity to understand the products, gain a thorough working knowledge of the end to end credit infrastructure and the ability to interact with a variety of other disciplines.

The individual joining the team will be performing the following functions:

Singular point of ownership for operational issues faced by the Sales & Marketing force (Trade events, collateral ...) Consolidation of queries inflow to Sales & Marketing force from MO/Operations groups (All trades booked in London and supporting all trades for our London sales by email, CMER and phone) Liaise with internal groups (Traders, sales, other middle offices teams in London, NY and Asia) Escalation point for Clients on Credit issues Enforcing controls around timely / accurate trade capture (Amends rates, trades booked on T, fund allocations, novations booking...) Contact counterparties to investigate discrepancies in trade/confirmation details and resolve all confirmation issues efficiently, INPV control and reporting (Accurate capture of Sales & Marketing commission) Collateral reports (Linked trades, CDS, ensuring upfront collateral is captured) Projects (STP functionalities, OTC Client Clearing initiatives, ad hoc) Actively participate in improving current processes whilst maintaining controls

PC literate with good knowledge of Windows applications, Macro recording and writing and the ability to learn quickly.

Experience we would like:
Client facing role. Good knowledge of credit derivates products, including CDS and tranche trades Understand an end to end trade workflow, Must be rigorous, team player and a good communicator
