POSITION SUMMARY:
Writes and oversees proposal preparation that is consistent with HOPE’s mission and organizational standards. In coordination with other departments, maintain a technical library for use in proposal creation.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the HOPE Corporate and Foundation Fundraising team to identify and prioritize private grant opportunities.
- Coordinate the development of concept papers and proposals (primarily for corporate and foundation prospects), including budget preparation, and ensure their timely submission.
- Track concept papers and proposals in all stages of development (cultivation, active solicitation, stewardship) and produce Moves Management reports on a monthly basis.
- Work with Global Health to produce progress and final reports for corporate and foundation donors, on deadline and in compliance with grant requirements.
- With Global Health and Business Development, maintain an updated library of technical capability statements and other boilerplate materials, for use in concept papers and proposals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Technical and grant writing as well as proposal submission.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to interact with staff members of different departments.
• Ability to understand and meet funder requirements and organization policies.
• Data management and report creation.
