As the Program Management Specialist, Water Sanitation Hygiene, you’ll contribute to the Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) team’s program quality, revenue and reporting goals through the management of a portfolio of private funding projects and providing sector team coordination and support.  Ensure proper implementation, reporting, and interface with both WVUS fundraisers, stakeholders, WV National Offices and other Partnership entities for project portfolio.  Responsible for maintaining and providing access to team contact and project information. Provide specialized assistance to sector teams and participate in projects that help the International Programs Group meet project and program objectives, improve business processes, and meet client expectations. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.

Job Responsibilities include:

Information/Knowledge Management & Customer Service:
Provide customer service point of entry for other WVUS departments, ensuring that internal clients are connected to team resources or individuals as needed to meet requests. Directly respond to research requests from Donor Contact Services research department and the Donor Services Organization.

Proactively maintain the most current data and information needed to support reporting, inventory management, proposal & business plan development and maintenance, scorecard reporting, etc.

Support the custom desk in the compilation of information for custom offers/reports.

Ensure appropriate storage of project documentation and entry of project information into required databases and maintain team project trackers.

Create and maintain the sector team tracker, providing input to the overall Private Funding and IPG trackers.

Support Sector Lead and Communications Officer in preparing proposals, donor offers and donor reports through researching new information, collecting existing information from the partnership, and creating documents such as organograms.

Team Coordination and Support:

Promote team effectiveness and organization through coordination of team meetings and events, maintaining team contact information, and assisting director with scorecards, workplans, and other tracking tools.
Participate in the orientation, training, and/or hosting of visitors, new employees, temporary staff, and interns on behalf of team.

Serve as team project manager for special projects as assigned by team director, such as sector business plans or preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Provide administrative support and assistance to team members as needed including, but not limited to, organizing meetings and conference calls, performing research, and copy-editing and formatting documents.

Donor Promise Accountability & Management of WASH Projects:

Serve as primary point of contact to fundraisers and other internal stakeholders regarding content and status of projects in PMS portfolio, ensuring understanding and alignment of field and donor expectations.

Provide timely and effective support to projects in PMS portfolio through the provision of advice in the areas of reporting compliance, financial management, and overall project implementation, including the sourcing of technical assistance as necessary.

Collaborate with IPG finance to ensure timely and accurate commitment of donor funds, clarity of field budgets, and appropriate fund utilization of projects in PMS portfolio.

Support National Office (NO) in understanding and meeting special donor requirements for projects in PMS portfolio.

When appropriate, conduct field visits to facilitate start-up workshops and provide any required training (e.g. reporting format) or provide other needed assistance and oversight to support projects in assigned portfolio.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.

Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). Minimum of three years relevant work experience, or Master's degree in international development or related and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. Demonstrated competencies in interpersonal communication, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. Multicultural work experience and fluency in a second language are valued.
Working Environment / Conditions
Some domestic and international travel required. All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States at the time of application.
