Environmental Specialist– The individual is responsible for providing technical support to program implementation in one or more of the following technical areas and other related areas as appropriate: Water Source Quality, Salinity Management, Drinking Water Desalination, Impact of Water Quality on Food Security, Water Quality Management, Modeling, Regulation, Permitting, Analysis, Monitoring, and Enforcement, Wetlands Management, Coastal Wetlands Management, Domestic (Urban and Rural) and Industrial Water Pollution Prevention and Control, Non-Point Source Pollution Prevention and Control, Environmental Remediation and Contamination Mitigation Plans, Aquatic Biodiversity and Habitat Management, Environmental Flows and Freshwater Inflow Management, Aquaculture Environmental and Social Impact Reduction, Mitigation, and Management, Promotion of Green Businesses and Green Certifications, Environmental Health and Vector Control, Urban Sanitation and Hygiene service delivery, Rural Sanitation and Hygiene service delivery, Epidemiology, Toxicology, Hygiene Behavior Change, etc.

Qualifications
 ■ Fluency in English
■ MA, PHD, JD or equivalent combination of education and work experience in related field
 ■ At least 8 years of relevant experience in one of the technical areas listed above
■ Must have a minimum of 3 years working in a developing countries
 ■ Demonstrated experience in relevant technical areas
