Planning and Development Specialist– The individual is responsible for providing technical support to program implementation in one or more of the following technical areas and other related areas as appropriate: Land Use Planning, Land Use Planning, Zoning, Permitting, and other Regulatory Functions, Integrated Coastal Urban Development, Shoreline Management and Coastal Erosion Control, Ports and Marinas Management, Facility Siting Analysis and Coastal Construction Guidelines/Best Practices, Parks and Protected Areas Management, including Marine Protected Areas and Fishery Reserves, Sustainable Ports, Marinas, and Shoreline Management, etc.

Qualifications
 ■ Fluency in English
■ MA, PHD, JD or equivalent combination of education and work experience in related field
 ■ At least 8 years of relevant experience in one of the technical areas listed above
 ■ Must have a minimum of 3 years working in a developing countries
 ■ Demonstrated experience in relevant technical areas
