About the Job:
Grameen America is seeking a Finance Intern. S/he will help optimize the department’s use of current policies and procedures and assist in research for developing grant proposals. The duration of the internship will last up to 10 weeks, from June to August. The position is based in New York.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Process/policy and procedure documentation;
- New product research/financing;
- Grant proposal/assistance with financial reporting;
- Data comparison/testing for new accounting system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA candidate preferred;
- Strong Excel skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Problem solving skills;
- Attention to detail.
