About the Job:
A2F Consulting is seeking a Gender Finance Management Consultant. S/he will provide advisory services to public and private sector clients on issues related to gender finance and women entrepreneurship.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Proactively support business development including the regular review of procurement notices by international development agencies and preparation of project/investment proposals;
Team leadership and oversight of client engagements (from proposal writing to final report);
Knowledge management and training.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree, such as a Master's, MBA, or PhD in Economics or Finance from an accredited university;
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate work experience in a consulting or similar position with strong focus on gender issues;
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines as team member as well as task manager;
- Analytical and conceptual skills;
- Client management and interpersonal skills;
- Oral and written communication skills;
- Working knowledge of at least one foreign language;
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work in a multicultural environment.
