    World Vision,
an international relief and development organization, is looking for a seasoned Senior Director to give strategic and passionate oversight to the Demographic Marketing team, focusing on programs and initiatives that influence audiences in a variety of markets. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

    If chosen for this role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and evaluation, team leadership, and leading the tactical planning for a highly passionate, qualified and experienced team of marketing professionals who bring all their expertise to tell the story of the poor around the world and engage compassionate Americans in participating in making a difference in their lives.  You will demonstrate your proven leadership ability and strategic planning experience and will lead the team to ongoing aggressive growth of the monetary support of our calling to help more and more of those that so desperately need our help overseas.

        Responsible for multiple channels/product lines of significant size, visibility and complexity including the development, implementation, and testing in order to recruit donors and build cause awareness. Ensure all scorecard metrics are met or exceeded.
        Develop strategic plans and budgets of multiple channels or product lines. Evaluate results, analyze strategy effectiveness, and modify strategies based upon results, coordinating efforts and gathering information as needed from staff across the organization.
        Develop key messaging and oversee all advertising for channels or programs. Collaborate with staff throughout the organization regarding access to both marketing segments and product lines.
        Work with Procurement and Contract Management to manage and negotiate vendor/agency relationships.
        Responsible for donor research, program research, performance testing and the development and implementation of treatment plans for assigned channels or product lines.
        Responsible for researching and evaluating potential new channels or products. Serve as subject matter expert on cross functional/organizational task forces as required.
        Hire, fire, train, counsel, evaluate, and recommend salary increases and promotions for those under direct supervision.
        Communicate World Vision's Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.
        Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team. Perform other duties as assigned.

        Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.

Required Experience

  •     Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. Broad experience managing multiple channels or product lines; 8-10 years.
  •     Strong Direct Marketing experience, including print, and e-commerce. Agency experience a plus. Generalist profile with broad marketing experience in B2C products and channels
  • Working Environment / Conditions
  • Standard office environment. Some travel may be required.
