    Scope of Position:  Interact with business customers to establish business process requirements and/or business system requirements focused on donor management toolsets. Transform functional support/delivery requirements into analysis models (i.e., gap, problem, usability and/or business) and produce detail, functional specifications, test strategy and plan specifications, and post solution production support. Provide coaching and mentoring to analysts and participate in strategic, analyst competency development. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

    Responsibilities:


        Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.

    SUPPORT


  •         Directly or indirectly with customer, resolve customer problems with hardware/software applications using trouble shooting skills and technical expertise. Employ accepted escalation procedures.
  •         To ensure quality, maintain history records and related problem documentation based on accepted problem management procedures.
  •         Perform operational and /or sustainment activities in support of key system entities that have cross-system dependencies.
  •         Serve as contact for end-users if business super-users are unable to resolve application issues.

    TEST
  •         Develop test strategy; develop integration test plans and scripts based on business case and requirements; including new Application releases and patches.
  •         Setup test data in test environment(s).
  •         Execute integration test.
  •         Track quality assurance metrics, such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
  •         Lead assigned staff in deployment of test activities.

    TRAINING
  •         Provide just-in-time training to end users as appropriate to mitigate problem reoccurrence and ensure knowledge transfer.
  •         Collaborate with Training to develop on-line help documentation, allowing end-users to solve basic questions about applications.
  •         Develop documentation for troubleshooting procedures, checklists and guidelines to ensure consistent application of standards.
  •         Collaborate with other analysts on training activities.

    BUSINESS ANALYSIS

  •         Collaborate with business customers to define/confirm and document business requirements.
  •         Create/modify functional design documents for moderately complex application enhancements and break/fix in collaboration with appropriate ISG staff and leadership.
  •         Support the WVUS Clarity Council to assess potential IT projects using analysis/expertise to identify and recommend business process changes that better leverage system capabilities across multiple operating and/or business units.
  •         Assist World Vision departments and divisions with developing business cases to support extending information technology applications.
  •         Assess potential technology projects for organizational readiness, strategic fit with the business plan and business benefits.
  •         Participate in cross-functional business technology and consulting team efforts to leverage technology applications.
  •         Participate in cost analysis for IT projects from both a business process and technical integration complexity perspective.
  •         Provide leadership in identification and resolution of data quality issues.

    GENERAL

  •         Provide coaching/mentoring to Analysts.
  •         Work with other team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
  •         Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.

Required Experience
  •         Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent work experience (eight years). Work experience establishing business process requirements and/or business systems requirements; 8 years.
  •         Preferred CBAP certification.
  •         Superior communication skills including the ability to actively listen.
  •         Large enterprise application experience (CRM/Healthcare Records) a plus.

Working Environment / Conditions
Standard working environment. On-call duty may be required to provide 24-hour, 7-day a week support. Travel may be required (not to exceed 25% of the time).
