About the Job:
FINCA is seeking an Information Services Manager (IS Manager). S/he will be responsible for the delivery of shared information services. The position is based in Georgia.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage IS department (hiring, training, creating operating plans, evaluating staff performance);
- Ensure quality of shared information services with the main focus on the core banking application;
- Report on SSC performance;
- Implement new information services and modify existing ones based on the global IS strategy and business requirements from customers;
- Implement and manages IS processes (service desk, incident management, service level management, service catalog, change management etc) for the regional shared services center;
- Achieve compliance of regional IS to organization’s global IS policies;
- Manage procurement of IT hardware, software, and services;
- Manage IT projects at SSC;
- Ensure quality of IT assets and services purchased from external suppliers;
- Manage software licenses at the datacenter and the regional office;
- Manage end user support for the regional and SSC employees;
- Manage (plan, monitor, and control) the IS budget for SSC and the datacenter in the region;
- Manage information security for SSC and the datacenter supporting internal and external audit and performing remediation activities;
- Manage the datacenter;
- Implement and support backup/recovery procedures;
- Coordinate implementation of standard technologies with IS managers at subsidiaries.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Technical Science;
- Degree in finance or economy is an advantage;
- At least 5 years of experience on IT manager of CIO positions;
- At least 5 years of experience in applications and IS infrastructure support;
- Knowledge of ITIL processes: incident management, service level management, change management, release management is an advantage;
- Experience in design and implementation of failover solutions and disaster recovery strategies;
- Experience of in implementation of information security policies and procedures;
- Experience of technical procedures development;
- Experience in hiring people is an advantage;
- General knowledge in networking;
- Knowledge of Oracle databases is an advantage;
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems is an advantage;
- Knowledge of banking operations and accounting is an advantage;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft office products: Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Power point;
- Fluency in Russian and English required;
- Ability to travel 30 percent of the time.
