We currently have the following opportunity for an Account Manager available:
- Responsible for managing and growing current and new accounts in line with overall business strategy and sale management plans.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Develop key account strategies and manage key customer programs. Keep customers informed of new industry trends.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities to be able to enter new and growing markets.
- Establish in-depth relationships with customer organizations to keep abreast of competitive activity and share market information.
- Comply timely and accurately with administrative requirements, such as call reports, sales forecasting, expense reports, etc.
- Up to 25% domestic travel.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, with heavy emphasis on relationship-building.
- Possess strong listening skills, creative thinking, and time management skills
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and a strong drive for results.
- Computer proficiency.
- Must be able to travel as required.
- Must be able and willing to relocate outside of Ohio within the next 24 months.
CONSIDERED A PLUS:
- Knowledge of lubricant or additive industry.
- Knowledge of value-added selling techniques.
- Knowledge of pricing strategy.
- Knowledge of supply and logistics processes.
