Job Description
Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Chemical Manufacturing Operations Technician to join our client in Catoosa, OK.

Job Overview:

- This temporary/contract position is for the duration of approximately six (6) months or longer.
- Pay Range: Up to $15.01 per hour.
- Working hours 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; some overtime may be required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision the operations technician's duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Participation in Plant Safety Program and adherence to all safety requirements.
- The safe handling and storage of compressed gas cylinders, 55 gallon drums and other packages of various sizes containing hazardous materials.
- The loading and unloading of trucks.
- Storage of materials by container size, type and location.
- The preparation and assembly of finished goods containers for shipment to end users (label application, placing materials in cardboard and wooden crates, staging materials for storage and pick up).
- Restocking of manufacturing Kan Ban supplies by part numbers.
- Interaction with business management software and Microsoft products.
- Material movement using standard forklifts, Hyster lift, pallet jacks, liquid drum and cylinder carts.
- Supporting manufacturing initiatives.
- Training will be provided.

Job Qualifications:
- A high school diploma, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, chemical handling and a basic understanding of inventory control preferred.
- Two (2) years of related work.
- Experience with small hand tools.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience in Material movement using standard forklifts, Hyster lift, pallet jacks, liquid drum and cylinder carts preferred.
- The successful candidate must be able to read and write fluently in English, understand written and verbal instructions and work well in a team environment.
