Its mission is to empower the next generation of social entrepreneurs to build strong businesses and communities through innovative microfinance. It provides opportunity to students to know how microfinance works in U.S.
About the Job:
LFA is seeking a Program Associate. S/he will be based in Newark, New Jersey and will report to LFA’s executive director.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
•    Capture updates from the organization’s members to share what they’re working on;
•    Collect, analyze, and benchmark data to measure organization’s effectiveness;
•    Market the organization’s fellowship program to underclassmen who want to start a campus MFI;
•    Manage inquiries and requests from members and other universities;
•    Drive registration for the organization’s national, annual conference — the LFA summit;
•    Write content for email announcements and the website;
•    Design and write copy for LFA collateral;
•    Manage LFA’s social media presence to attract new audiences to LFA’s network.
Qualifications:
•    Excellent communications skills;
•    Experience managing multiple projects;
•    Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
•    Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, mission-driven environment.
