About the Job:
Calvert Foundation is seeking Director of Investor Relations. S/he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of investor and asset management services, managing important client relationships, and supporting business development opportunities. S/he will help anchor the overall capital-raising business of organization, with primary responsibilities including relationship management, customer service, business development, and systems and process improvement. S/he will report to the vice president of investment partnerships as part of the organization's strategic initiatives team.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Relationship management:
- Manage relationships with institutional and retail investors to increase their understanding of impact investing and the community investment note;
- Be a primary point of contact for financial professionals seeking to understand impact investing and organization’s products and services;
- Oversee day to day operations of the community investment note and community investment partners business;
- Work with investor relations staff to ensure best in class customer service for investors and financial advisors;
- Work across teams to develop more efficient systems, processes, and information flow .
- Business development:
- Support the development of new business relationships for continuing to strategically grow both on and off balance sheet assets;
- Help develop new business ideas, investment programs, and products;
- Project manage the response to formal and informal requests for proposal and presentations to potential clients, including financial modeling;
- Support business development and industry building through participation in client meetings and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative professional with more than 5 years of experience developing strong relationships within the financial services and/or impact investing industries;
- Flexibility to play internal/external and lead/support roles as needed;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical ideas to a variety of audiences;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring strong attention to detail;
- Systems and process minded. Salesforce experience preferred;
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate staff;
- College degree required. Related graduate degree preferred;
- Series 63 preferred or must be willing to pass if employed;
- Ability to travel as necessary.
