About the Job:
SEEP is seeking a Program Associate - Member Affairs and Global Communications. S/he will be responsible for the successful implementation of member processes as well as communications and marketing efforts that will contribute to increased member satisfaction and engagement and to raising organization's profile.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of member processes, activities and services. Includes processing membership applications, coordinating member renewals, responding to member inquiries, support the delivery of member orientations, and follow-ups;
- Support and grow organization’s social media presence through regular postings and management;
- Support the implementation of data-driven strategies and analysis of member feedback and related activities to support refinement of organization's services and strategies;
- Support development and implementation of organization's marketing and communications plans;
- Conduct communications and marketing of organization's programs and activities, using a variety of platforms;
- Maintain organization’s brand consistency throughout organizational communications;
- Support and maintain organization’s web platform, including the development and posting of new material and quality control processes;
- Maintain and update organization's contact database, including implementing new technologies available to the Salesforce platform;
- Assist in the design and development of organization's outreach materials, both print and online;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of SEEP dialogues, meet the practitioner, and other learning events;
- Implement effective processes for annual conference workshop submissions from members and provide support in the coordination of the annual conference advisory committee;
- Provide event planning and logistics support for the organization of the annual conference.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree in Communications, Marketing, International Development, or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred;
- At least 3-4 years of work experience in marketing/communications, preferably in international affairs and/or microfinance and enterprise development;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills a must;
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and other graphics program skills;
- Adept at cross-cultural communication in a global environment;
- Facility with web content, database management, and related programs and systems;
- Ability to manage time well and complete tasks on deadline;
- Demonstrated ability to work within designated budgets;
- Advanced proofreading and writing skills for producing communication materials;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks that are time sensitive;
- Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people at senior and other levels internally and externally in an international and multi-cultural environment;
- Professional proficiency French is required.
