Healthcare scholarship opportunity in United States, Grants and Scholarships,



WGU Texas Scholarships
Recipients must be U.S. citizens.
Scholarships Title: WGU Healthcare Partners Fund
Scholarship Value: $2,500 maximum
Background Information:
WGU Texas is pleased to offer the WGU Healthcare Partners Fund for employees of partner institutions. These scholarships, each valued up to $2,500, are designed for employees of WGU’s partner hospitals and healthcare organizations who wish to advance their education to become educators, managers, and leaders in vital healthcare fields.

Who the Scholarship is for
This scholarship is for:
    Employees of partner healthcare organizations who wish to broaden their education, expand their responsibilities, or move into nurse education or management.
Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be an employee of one of our partner healthcare organizations. Contact your Enrollment Counselor to determine your eligibility.
Other requirements:
·             Complete an application for admission.
·             Submit official transcripts of all prior college work.
·             Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
·             Be officially admitted to WGU Texas.
·             Submit a letter of recommendation from the employee’s supervisor.
·             Interview with a WGU Texas Scholarship Counselor prior to award decision.

Multiple scholarships will be awarded. However, this is a competitive program and scholarships will be awarded based on a candidate’s academic record, financial need, readiness for online study at WGU, and current competency, plus other considerations.
NOTE: This scholarship is designed for new WGU Texas students only. Students are eligible to apply for these scholarships during the enrollment process and up to 60 days after starting a degree program. WGU employees and their spouses are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
Scholarship Value: $2,500 maximum
This scholarship will be credited to your account at the rate of $625 per six-month term, renewable for up to four terms.

The student must also meet the university’s On Time Progress requirements to maintain scholarship eligibility. Recipients must be U.S. citizens.

Scholarship opportunity in Florida at Full Sail University,Grants and Scholarships,


Scholarship Title. Florida Resident SCHOLARSHIP
Location:Florida,United States, 
Background Information:
The Florida Resident Scholarship program will award up to $21,000 to eligible students. This scholarship fund is limited and will be awarded to all applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and according to the award determination process as outlined below.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for consideration, those applying for a Florida Resident Scholarship must:
• Have been a Florida resident for at least one year prior to the fi rst day of class
• Have conducted an entrance interview with their Full Sail Admissions representative.
• Have submitted an application and application fee for an eligible campus bachelor’s 20- to 21-month accelerated schedule, 26- to 36-month extended schedule, or an associate’s 12- to 14-month accelerated schedule degree program.
• Have applied to start classes on October 28 or November 25, 2013.
• Have met the entrance requirements for the desired Full Sail campus degree program.
HOW TO APPLY
The Florida Resident Scholarship application must be submitted to the Full Sail Scholarship Committee prior to the desired start date.
• Submit high school transcripts with final GPA or GED prior to the fi rst day of class. Your Full Sail Enrollment Guide can provide additional information on submission of transcripts.

AWARD DETERMINATION
• Applicant’s supporting documentation of Florida resident, and high school transcripts or GED, will be referenced to determine eligibility.
• Recipients will be notifi ed by the Full Sail University
Admissions department prior to beginning their degree program, provided eligibility requirements above are met.
• Scholarship amount will be disbursed throughout student’s academic years, amount to be divided between semesters, as applicable.
PROVISIONS
• Applicants must have completed a formal interview with their Full Sail Admissions representative.
• Applicants must have applied as a new student to Full Sail University for an eligible campus bachelor’s or associate’s degree program.
• Bachelor of Science applicants must have applied for one of the following Full Sail 20- to 22- or 26- to 36-month campus degree programs: Computer Animation, Digital Arts & Design, Film, Game Art, Game Development, Recording Arts, Show Production, or Web Design & Development.
• A change of degree program, interruption of training, or withdrawal may result in cancellation of scholarship award and disbursement. The student understands that a change
of student status may impact eligibility.
• This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships initiated and/or awarded by Full Sail University, with the exception of the Dedication Scholarship.
• Final award of scholarship is contingent upon receipt of all required Admissions and Financial Aid documents by start date.
• Students who delay their start date will forfeit eligibility.
• Funds from the Florida Resident Scholarship may be used only toward the tuition of an eligible Full Sail degree program.
• The scholarship is nontransferable and has no redeemable cash value.
• Financial aid available for those who qualify.
• SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS ARE LIMITED AND WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE UNTIL DEPLETED.

WGU Texas Scholarships Hispanic Achievers Scholarship
Scholarships Title: WGU Texas — Hispanic Achievers Scholarships
Scholarship Value: $2,000 maximum
About the Scholarships
WGU Texas is proud to announce the WGU Hispanic Achievers Scholarship Program. These scholarships, each valued at up to $2,000, are designed for members of the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce in Texas who would like to return to college to complete a bachelor’s or master's degree.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:
·             Complete an application for admission and be officially admitted to WGU Texas.
·             Submit official transcripts showing completion of an associate’s degree or passing at least 60 credits of college-level coursework. Proof of a bachelor’s degree is required for admission into the master’s degree programs.
·             Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
·             Be a member of the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce or Mexican American Chambers of Commerce.
·             Complete an essay on “My Motivation for Earning a Degree.”
·             Interview with a WGU Texas Scholarship Counselor prior to award decision.
Multiple scholarships will be awarded. However, this is a competitive program and scholarships will be awarded based on a candidate’s academic record, financial need, readiness for online study at WGU, and current competency, plus other considerations.

WGU Texas is pleased to offer the Go Further in Information Technology Scholarship. This scholarship, valued up to $2,000, is designed to help those with an associate’s degree and experience in the IT field earn a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:

Criteria:              
Several scholarship programs available, including: The Walmart Associate Scholarship available to Walmart and Sam’s Club associates; The Sam Walton Community Scholarship available to graduating seniors with at least a 2.5 GPA and a demonstrated financial need; The Walmart Dependent Scholarship available to Walmart and Sam’s Club dependents of associates who are graduating seniors with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and a demonstrated financial need; and Walton Family Foundation Scholarship available to dependents of Walmart and Sam’s Club associates who have at least a 22 ACT or 1030 SAT score and prove financial need.
